Jetwriter AI (formerly ChatGPT Writer) refunds the first payment for a paid plan if you ask within 2 days of it: email support@jetwriter.ai with a short reason. Renewals, monthly or yearly, aren't refunded. Cancelling later doesn't refund the time left either: your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
The refund policy
This is the refund part of the Refund And Cancellation Policy in our terms of use, word for word:
2. Extended Evaluation Period: When you first subscribe to a paid plan, we provide a 2-day period to explore the full range of our service. If you determine that our product does not meet your expectations within this time, you may request a refund.
If you are not satisfied with our product during the first 2 days of your initial paid subscription, you may request a refund by contacting us at support@jetwriter.ai. Kindly include a brief explanation of the reason for your request. Each refund request will be carefully evaluated on an individual basis.
- Refunds apply only to your initial subscription purchase. Subscription renewals (recurring charges) are not eligible for refunds.
- After the initial 2-day period has elapsed, we do not offer refunds for subscription cancellations.
- Refund eligibility is subject to our review and approval.
- We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet our criteria or are deemed to be in violation of our terms of service.
Ask for a refund
- Within 2 days of your first payment, email support@jetwriter.ai, from the email address of your Jetwriter account or with that address in the message.
- Say briefly why Jetwriter didn't work for you, and give the date and amount of the payment.
- If the refund is approved, the payment goes back to the card you paid with, and your subscription ends right away: your account moves to the Free plan.
You don't need to cancel before asking: a refund ends the subscription.
What isn't refunded
- Renewals, monthly or yearly. To stop the next one, cancel before it: see Cancel your Jetwriter AI subscription.
- The time left after you cancel. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, then moves to Free.
- Money left over from a plan change. After a downgrade, or a switch from yearly to monthly billing, the unused part is kept as credit for your next payments, not paid back to your card. See Upgrade, downgrade or switch to yearly billing.
- Requests after the first 2 days of your first paid subscription.
