# A charge you don't recognize: JETWRITER.AI or CHATGPT WRITER

> JETWRITER.AI or CHATGPT WRITER on a statement is a Jetwriter AI subscription. Find the account it's for, cancel it, or email support with the date and amount.

A charge that says **JETWRITER.AI** on your card or bank statement, or **CHATGPT WRITER** on older ones, is a subscription to Jetwriter AI, an AI writing assistant that was called ChatGPT Writer until September 2025. To find out which account it's for, sign in at [jetwriter.ai/dashboard](https://jetwriter.ai/dashboard) with each email address you use and look for a paid plan. If you can't find it, email [support@jetwriter.ai](mailto:support@jetwriter.ai) with the date and amount of the charge, and we'll find the subscription.

## Why you might not recognize it

-   **The old name.** Jetwriter AI was called ChatGPT Writer, so a plan you started under that name now shows as JETWRITER.AI. See [Jetwriter AI was called ChatGPT Writer](https://jetwriter.ai/help/chatgpt-writer-is-now-jetwriter).
-   **A yearly plan** is charged only once a year, so its renewal is easy to forget.
-   **Someone else used your card**, such as a family member or a colleague. A team plan is paid by the team's owner for all its members.
-   **The amount isn't the plan's price.** Changing plans, or adding a member to a team, is charged right away for the rest of the current period. Plans paid in Indian rupees show in rupees.
-   **Removing the extension doesn't stop the subscription.** It keeps renewing until it's cancelled.

## Find the account the charge belongs to

1.  Go to [jetwriter.ai/dashboard](https://jetwriter.ai/dashboard) and sign in with an email address you use. If you have several, or several Google accounts for **Continue with Google**, try each one.
2.  Look under **Current Plan**. **Elite**, **Ultra** or **Pro**, or a team plan such as **Team Elite**, means this account has a paid plan. **Free** means it doesn't.
3.  On the account with a paid plan, click **Manage Billing**. Its invoices are listed with their dates and amounts, so you can match the charge. See [Get invoices and receipts, and add company details](https://jetwriter.ai/help/invoices).

If none of your accounts has a paid plan, ask the people who might have used your card, or email support.

## Cancel the subscription

On the account page of the account that pays, click **Manage Billing**, then **Cancel subscription**. The plan keeps working until the end of the period already paid for, and you aren't charged again. See [Cancel your Jetwriter AI subscription](https://jetwriter.ai/help/cancel-subscription).

## Ask for a refund

A first payment can be refunded if you ask within 2 days of it; renewals aren't refunded. See [Jetwriter AI refund policy and how to ask for a refund](https://jetwriter.ai/help/refunds).

## Can't find the account? Email support

Email [support@jetwriter.ai](mailto:support@jetwriter.ai) with:

-   the date and amount of the charge, with its currency, as your statement shows them;
-   the name on the statement: **JETWRITER.AI** or **CHATGPT WRITER**;
-   the email addresses you, or someone using your card, might have signed up with.

We'll find the subscription and can cancel it for you. Never send your full card number.

## If you didn't make the charge

Email [support@jetwriter.ai](mailto:support@jetwriter.ai) first, with the date and amount of the charge, so we can find the subscription and cancel it. If you dispute the charge with your bank instead, the subscription is cancelled as soon as we're told of the dispute.
